I used a thin wooden pointer that broke off. I am a teacher in a 2-3 year old class. I love showing kids our letters/colors/numbers/shapes etc and it's perfect for them. All the children were enthusiastic about the new Pointer. I like that it can be folded for easy storage. It seems very durable, I'm sure it will last many school years.
