I really liked my Elehomes humidifiers My bathroom is small and windowless and the exhaust fan doesn't work well (also this combined with the lights I have hate when I leave the light on just to turn on the fan). So I bought it to use in the bathroom (when I'm not showering or bathing). The audio is loud, especially for the size as other reviewers noted. I had no real way to tell if it actually worked or not. I won't go into details, but today the bathroom was a bit strange. Since I was leaving at noon, I figured I'd turn it on at maximum speed, hoping to return home to a neutral-smelling room. The description on the product page states that it can purify the air in a 125 x 125 cm room in 30 minutes. My bathroom is about 100 x 100 (estimate but it's a small bathroom anyway, I didn't open the door once I had the air purifier on and it was on full blast). It was around 1:00 p.m. I got home around 7pm and when I opened the bathroom it seemed like I had never turned this thing on. So I was convinced that something in my bathroom really stinks, not just the air. Let it run for another hour or so, then I just turned it off and opened the bathroom door. The smell disappeared after 30 minutes. So yeah, the smells in the small windowless room didn't change after almost a full day's work. Therefore, I also question the properties of air purification. I'll probably be returning this before the returns window closes and just hoping my exhaust fan holds up.
