Review on Aqueon NeoGlow Hexagon Orange Aquarium by Brandon Doctore

Some complaints. First the filter. It's good they turn him on, but my god he's too strong for this tank. I have a single cock and he gets pushed all the time. I ended up replacing it with a simple filter sponge. The second issue I encountered was the light. Dear God, they are bright. The tank is in my child's room and at night it looks like it's throwing a bright party there. He uses it as a night light and since I've had this aquarium I've been struggling with algal blooms from the 6 hours of light a day. I used to have a 3 gallon betta and the lights were literally never turned off but I never had a single bloom. I had no leaks and replacing the included filter with a sponge provided a lot of what was needed. Space to lay the cable for my heating and my catenary. If you get this tank be prepared to buy some extras like a new filter and maybe a new light that isn't quite as bright.
