Great kit! The only thing that bothers me is that there is no way to store cables in the carry case. Be sure to get a hard case with this one. I've found the Condition 1 and Pelican Firearm Cases to be a great option for storing these items in a secure, watertight, and stackable crate. To be honest this setup is a bit overkill in terms of usage for most applications. For rooms with a capacity of around 200 to 500 people, you can easily get by with just 3 microphones and get great sound. Kick, an overhead and a tom mic. If you're on a budget, you can pick up the 4 and 5 mic kits for $200 less and you won't miss a thing. This suggests that having extra mics and not using them is better than needing them and not having them. I like the versatility of this setup. This covers pretty much every application from clubs to large outdoor festivals and studios. I have also used overhead for other applications such as djembe, tambourine, etc.
