Great for spare or DIY clips.
I have several accessories that use these types of camera screws and have lost some of them over time. They work great as a replacement. I also make a lot of my own brackets and mounting plates and they are much better than a 1/4-20 thumbscrew and flat too. I like that the base has a 1/4-20 threaded hole as well.
