I was hesitant to use them and that they wouldn't work well. I was so wrong I've used them twice now on my pup. I poured some water on the shirts, zipped them up. and then place them in the freezer for easy grabbing. I was SO concerned that this guy would overheat on the boat. He almost overheated before he even got on the boat! As soon as we were in the boat, I had him jump in the water and then put one of the frozen shirts on him. They dry out pretty quickly, but I take them with me just in case and keep them in the fridge so they don't freeze. Or I pour it with cold water from a cool box. These brachycephalic dogs really are a lifesaver! He weighs around 30-32 pounds. Have XL
