I bought these to use as disposable brushes for small projects where I don't want to mess with cleaning my high end brushes . I've mainly used them for oil paints which they work well with, but they tend to smear over time so be aware this can affect the finish. Cleaning and reusing with solvents is nearly impossible as thinners eat away at the brush material, rendering it stiff and nearly unusable. A few water based paint projects I've tried have worked fine, not as smooth as my quality brushes but good for undercoating or textured finishes. Would I buy again for these projects, the price is worth it.
