Cool look but not very effective

I have always loved and wanted this type of replacement antenna as I am a US Army Veteran. When it arrived it was well packaged and came with all accessories as there are many different sizes of car antenna mounts. It mounted perfectly on my RAM 1500, however there was a lot of noise on some stations which I never had with a factory antenna. I went back and bought a 13 inch rubber antenna and it's perfect. No more problems with car washes.
