This is the WHITE connector (which is for the return line from the two Suburban heater cores back to the engine), not the BLACK connector (which is the supply line). First remove the foremost connection (the one closest to the front of the car, easily done with a plastic collar tool I bought at an auto parts store), then the next connection closest to the firewall, and then the smaller wire . which last goes to the aluminum pipe of the rear heater cooler. Install in reverse order. If you pinch your ears with a pair of "hose clamp pliers" properly at the connection point of the fire wall and wiggle them back and forth while squeezing the ears, they come off relatively easily. It fits perfectly and there are no leaks. I used some silicone grease (which is compatible with plastic parts and rubber o-rings) to make the connection tight and airtight.
