It is a good laptop companion. The screen is about the size of a 15-inch laptop screen, although it's wider and narrower. If you plug it into a USB=C port on your laptop, it will power up and give you a display, although it's pretty dim. When you plug the included USB-C power cable into the power port, you get a display that rivals a laptop screen. Units screen when not in use. It's a good option when you're on the go and need a different display. It also works with smartphones. I used it with my Samsung Note 10+ and it supports DEX mode. You will need an external power supply for It has speakers, nothing spectacular but they get the job done. It also has a menu for different display profiles, which is a plus. I think it's perfect for stand use, you can plug it into your phone or your computer and run your commercial to grab attention.
