Review on 🚗 Metra 99-7627HG Single/Double DIN Dash Kit - Perfect Fit for 2013- Select Nissan Pathfinder Models by Muhammad Balding

I've spent days researching the Metra website and YouTube channel [.] to see if this product works or not. I also spent time with an online product expert to make sure I wasn't wasting my time and money on a product that might not be worth it. After all my diligence I bought these. Should he work? To the right? The manual didn't have enough instructions so my installer called Metra during the installation and spent 2 hours on the phone with them. Installed according to their instructions. Viola! It has been installed. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. There are problems with this product on many levels. 1) The rear air conditioning cannot be controlled from the dashboard. 2) Customer service gives different answers to each call. a) When I first called them they said to give them the part number which is under the box. To give it to them I have to remove the kit and pay the installer for it. After that, Metra will tell me if I need to update the firmware for it or not. b) When I called them the second time I told them I don't have a part number and I have problems with the air conditioner, they said update the firmware. I asked them why they didn't let my installer know when he called while the install was in progress? They had no answer. c) I called them a third time to tell them about the problem with the rear air conditioner. To my surprise, this time I'm told that the rear AC shouldn't be operated using the kit buttons. It must be operated manually by the rear passenger. I said that automatic climate control is written in this kit, and not only for the front. Metra told me it doesn't say both front and back. WOW! What a play on words. d) During the same call I informed them that despite purchasing the AXXESS control interface (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B4PJC9K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) . He said it doesn't work with my radio (Kenwood DNX573S) because it's not compatible. I said why wasn't I told that when I called you to check compatibility? They had no answer. Also, the youtube link above states that the steering wheel controls work with the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. I am very disappointed with both the product and the customer service. They don't have the knowledge to make their product work. I have to pay to have it removed and send it back to them. I'd rather not buy it. BEWARE! Please be 100% sure before purchasing.
