***UPDATE2*** As promised, I received a warranty replacement muffler. Hope it doesn't fade BTW I removed the baffle from the discolored muffler and temporarily installed it to see how it sounds. I left the left silencer intact. I like it. It's too loud for everyday use for me, but if you hate your neighbors or want to warn deer and woodchucks, this might be a good option. You can replace it if you don't like it. When removing, be careful and patient. UPDATE: After 2000 miles they still sound great. I have black dampers. I had a small cosmetic issue with one of them. I contacted the company and within a day they contacted me, provided great communication and sent me a new muffler. I'm still very satisfied. These mufflers sound great. Deep low tone. No pop Reinhart sound or one of the millions of boring V&H sounds. Something unique, deep, sophisticated and raw. Fit and finish are first class. The black paint on the mufflers was uniform with no stains. The tips are laser cut and powder coated to be flawless. Installed in 20 minutes. The bracket isn't as strong as the factory Harley mufflers, but the welds were perfect. Honestly, if you're looking for louder mufflers on stock pipes and you buy something else, you just want to brag about the name. These dampers are very good. Time will tell how good the latter is, but at this price point you get almost 4 sets for the price of one fancy pant.
