For many years I had a similar two-lid case made of thin cheap plastic. The lid broke and I began looking for replacements for the small cans of paint I kept inside. I wanted something much better than my previous tote bag. This is a great case that meets my needs. The plastic is solid, the carrying handle is thick and strong, and the locking mechanisms are firm and secure. It's as if this case was designed for a builder. I have no hesitation in carrying this or fear the lids will open and the contents will spill out. The orange Snap-Locks snap tightly and securely - these are strong tabs that won't break after repeated opening and closing and really snap tightly to close lids securely with no gaps. The technical tolerances of the product are excellent. I really admire the rectangular handle and flat plastic shelves that don't flex; So when I open the lid when the case is upright, the jars don't spill out because the shelves are perfectly level. Each side has fifteen 6cm x 6.5cm compartments and two 4.5cm x 9.5cm compartments (30 square and four total rectangular compartments per box). The orange vertical tabs slide in and out to increase the size of the fifteen square bays and create longer rows. The 4.5cm x 9.5cm rectangular compartments are fixed compartments at the top. The plastic back wall is black with a fine structure in the form of grid grooves. The lid's plastic isn't fully transparent, but rather translucent with a texture; However, it is still possible to see the content inside. The product design and construction make it a great carry case for carrying all kinds of small parts and items without worrying about losing anything once the four orange latches snap firmly on top.
