I may have broken my windshield! READ!

I thought I would fix a small chip on the windshield but maybe I just did it so even a professional can't fix it anymore. When I bought this product I did a lot of research online and even watched some great YouTube videos. I have a small chip on the windshield, no bigger than a dime. However, it was right in the driver's field of view, so I decided to fix it. Now the kit itself is simple and easy to use. The instructions are clear and clean. cut out. A clean window will remove debris from the inside of the chip. Stick on the pillow, stick on the plastic cover. Fill the plastic case with resin. Air in the window to allow the resin to fill the chip. Allow to dry in the sun, swab over with the glass provided, allow to dry, scrape off any remaining resin from the window. ***** ********************* So it's falling apart. RESIN is a UV based product, it does not use air to dry or heat, it uses light, UV light from the sun or a UV flashlight. I left it on my car in the sun for over an hour. When I removed the drop of resin in the last step, to my surprise it was still wet. So I re-smeared and re-did the last step. Waited 2 hours in the sun. And again it didn't dry. I've left my car in the sun all day and it still hasn't dried out. So I guess I have a *lemon or a very old bottle of resin in my kit. But here's the problem: now I'm not sure if the resin in the crack is drying and I have no way of getting it out. I also still have the chip, which is still visible. and if the resin in the chip is dry or wet I can't even put another product on the chip because it just overlays the bad and keeps showing the chip in the window. Super upset. This packaging must be marked with expiry dates. Because now there is no way to fix the chip because bad resin has been injected into the chip.
