I was delighted to receive this in the mail today as I recently ordered a clear purple case and wanted a different option. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this particular wood structure, although I can see from other reviews that others appear to be of very high quality. The two pieces don't fit together properly for some reason, leaving gaps. between the bodies through which the light shines. The texture is pretty nice and the SNES buttons are always a good thing, but it smelled very strongly of spray paint, to the point where I actually had to air it out after unboxing it. Overall, I see the appeal of this version. But honestly, I wish I could just stick with my purple shell and not spend almost $40 on a spray painted shell that doesn't even match properly 😕
