I bought this laptop stand because I really liked the design and needed something functional and awesome for my WFH. I like that it's a solid piece of metal while most other coasters are separate pieces. The first one I bought was ok, the rubber strips on the bottom looked like they had been taped on by a blindfolded child or a monkey with its legs. The rubber strips are a bit too big for the grooves of the inserts, so the dried glue comes out of the seams and the protruding parts don't even stick. The finish on the matte black surface was riddled with scuffs and fingerprints. did you send me a used one? Did you send me a return? Anyway, I requested a replacement from Revain and it was promptly delivered the next day. It's even worse than my original. Come on! Same problems as above, only more obvious, and this time the rubber top was covered in adhesive sticking out all over the place. It's a great design sold at a premium price, but the quality doesn't reflect that. The company apparently cuts swabs to save pennies and apparently lets blind third-world kids pick them up with their feet. make it better
