This will be a difficult build if you are a beginner. Then you become an expert. That's a good engine. It's a bit noisy, but I've heard worse. I've ridden a 48v 1000w front wheel, I'm about 150 which is more than enough and I ride a half mile on 45 degree slopes where I live so it's a game changer if you work on a bike . I don't wear extra clothes because I don't sweat when I get to work. Take something other than the bag they give you for the controller. This is a temporary thing until you understand what will actually be on your frame. You need a crank tool to install the shaft, but someone sells a separate shaft that doesn't require removing the crank. I had to weld my pas magnet on and it works great if you need to do the same. There is no torsion bar included, you will need one so order one. The battery will add at least £10 if you don't spend a lot of money on it. Make sure the voltage and power match or even slightly higher. Excessive temperature can burn components. I use a 1100w battery. That's 13 amp hours, I estimate about 10 actual hours. I drive a few miles so I charge about once a week. All of this is on the classic GT Avalanche. The bike weighs about 35 kg. Make sure the bike stand is level when you put this thing on it. I could not fit a 160mm disc brake to this wheel on my bike. Anyway, I don't think you need more stopping power than the front wheel, so I just left the V-brakes on. This is a good wheel. It's very difficult to figure out at first, so watch the video.
