My passport is due for renewal soon and I've decided to provide my own photos this time rather than pay for something I don't usually end up liking. I didn't have really good lighting for portraits at home as I had a lot of shadows and I thought the best way to solve this problem would be soft and direct lighting. Lighting: This light is bright and provides good illumination. portraits. It's nice and big so you get good lighting. I have found that you need to place this about 2ft from where you want to get enough light where everything is well lit but not too close. Color Temperature: I mainly used "warm" colors to make a portrait of myself for my passport photo. There are 2 other color temperatures, one completely "cold" and the other in between. For me personally, I chose the "yellowest" tempo for a self-portrait as it turned out to be the most natural. Ease of use: It couldn't be easier to use. You basically mount it on a tripod and rotate it to any angle you like. There is a small cord coming from the light with a remote control that turns it on and off with a couple of buttons, adjusts the color temperature and brightness level. Results: My passport photos turned out the way I wanted and the photos were accepted, the goals were met. ! It was a bit more expensive than the passport photos that cost here, but the fact that I was also able to upgrade my career justifies the price.
