Review on CY Micro SD TF to SD Card Kit Mini Adaptor: Expand MacBook Air/Pro/Retina Storage by Jason Ortiz

A few months ago I bought an Acer Chromebook. Since the laptop was only 32GB, I needed additional storage, so I bought a microSD card that came with a standard SD card adapter. When I set the laptop up and plugged in the regular SD adapter, I noticed that it was 0.5-0.75 inches longer. It didn't make much of a difference, except that I had to be careful when transporting my laptop. However, for aesthetic reasons, I opted for a short adapter so that the card does not protrude so far. This adapter I bought works almost perfectly. Reading my SD card is no problem and the data is transferred from the microSD card to the computer without any problems. The lip still sticks out a little, but it's much less noticeable. My only complaint is that this adapter only comes in white. I really wanted a gray adapter that would fit my laptop and not be too noticeable. But this adapter had the best rating and I chose the rating over the color. Still a big buy in my book!
