These shoes are of high quality. Great for walks to the playground, trips to the beach, pool days and more. The heel strap is padded. The outsole is durable yet flexible. Quite an upgrade over a cheap flip flop. In large children's sizes, they seem long. My kid is 10 years old, in fifth grade, and has 4, 4.5 in most shoes. I ordered 5 hoping to get some more time out of them (also 4 were out of stock). They are huge. They easily have 1.5 to 2 inches of room behind their big toe. We will come back and try to get a smaller size. She loves them but they don't fit.
