So they are leather. I ordered a size 10 they are a size 10US but they are snug out of the box which is to be expected when the item is genuine leather. I have a feeling they will be very comfortable after they break. The workmanship is good, the seams are pleasant to the touch, they are definitely not made for outdoor use, in general they are "slippers", I like their excellent look and they feel great, albeit a little tight.
