Don't let my review fool you. Yes I may have given it 3 stars but it's not because of the performance or because I don't like it for doing it. I gave 3 stars because of the imprecise runtime description. They say 30 hours, but that's far from the case. I turned on the fan before bed and when I woke up 7 hours later it was dead. Yes, I fully charged this fan before using it. I used this fan again last night and this time slept 5 hours (hunting season) and when I woke up it was dead. I didn't have this fan. It ran at about 75% speed. A nice feature of this fan is that it runs while charging. To be honest I don't see 30 hours of use at the lowest speed. As for the sound. I mean, the blade spins at high speed and slices through the air, so yes, there's noise. Sounds like a fan. To be honest I wouldn't want a fan to be considered fired because that would mean they have no energy. The fan just can't be silent while cutting air. Physics won't allow it. This fan performs well and blows out a lot of air to keep you cool. No low, medium or high. There is only one speed dial that can be set to almost any speed between low and high. The quality of the fan is excellent. It's constructed the same as my other fans that plug into the wall. It's not cheap. Overall, I really like this fan and I'm glad I was able to buy it. It is ideal for camping, garage or home use. I definitely recommend this fan. If you are looking for a great wireless fan, I would definitely say that you will be satisfied with this one. I just want the battery to last longer.
