Updated December 2020. This rating has been downgraded dramatically from a 4 to a 1 as the grater is now falling apart. The plastic frame will crack and crumble with normal use, and the metal parts will begin to warp and bend. We do not recommend it due to its short lifespan. . Original Review: Overall, we love OXO kitchen products and this grater is no exception. The two "legs" are separate so you can use the grater as a stand (as shown in the picture) or use each of the legs separately. We found it easier and safer to use each leg separately and we eliminated the clamp that holds the legs together. Everything looks solid enough and looks like it will last a few years. What we particularly like is that the individual parts don't twist a lot - our old grater was less durable and twisted during use, eventually causing the frame to break. OXO looks better. .
