Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Topeak Peak DX II Mini Bicycle Pump by Kenny Outlaw

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I will say that I usually check my gear carefully before I

NOTE. The 120psi specification for this product is incorrect. It is rated at 90psi. I will say that I usually research my gear carefully before buying it. I was surprised that this product was rated as medium or low on other sites and high here, but I decided to take the risk anyway. The first pump I received was defective and had a bad seal so out of the box it was unusable. Luckily Revain has great customer service and sent out a new one straight away which worked great. Other reviews warn that this pump could fail in the near future, so we'll see. The build quality is solid and I had no trouble sealing the Presta valves well. I will use it for both mountain biking and road cycling. On a set of 700 x 23 road tires I was able to get 85psi with moderate effort, so the 90psi rating seems accurate. It's not enough to work as a standalone pump for a multi-day trip, but it's enough to get you home (or to a shop that can fully inflate your tire) on a shorter trip.
