I would add this item to my "Top 10 Baby Products" list! We bought two of these pads and found them useful for many purposes. I loved using it on our LA Baby changing mat because it adds a nice soft layer and a little extra padding. When my daughter was younger, they allowed her to spend time naked on her stomach after the bath and for the first few days. Due to the good padding it is still a bit clumsy, but that works with a fairly large diaper bag.) Due to the small size, however, they will no longer work on the stomach after 3-4 months. At this point, you might want to consider the Blueberry/Swaddlebees Mattress Pad (1&keywords=diaper+mattress+pillow), which offers the same functionality in a much larger size. We really loved the Swaddlebees mattress topper which we took to the garden or park when my daughter sat down and started rolling but hadn't crawled or walked yet. We still use these KangaCare mattress pads on the changing table. They've been doing great for a year. Highly recommended as a baby shower gift!
