It's like rubbing rose petals on your face. There are worse things in life. I was looking for a lip balm without the added ingredients that I avoid including avocado oil, sunflower oil, or soybean oil, which seems like a very daunting task. It only has 3 ingredients! Hooray! In addition, it feels comfortable, is gentle and I will definitely continue to use it. The only weird thing is the packaging. It's like thick paper (they say it's wood) that's glued on and then taped in place with a tiny piece of tape. Because of the tape I thought I should have pulled it off but no I don't think so. Now the edge is free, will cling to things and eventually tear. The wrapper design needs a little help.
