"Big and Big " 14 inch bezel

Alright, I hope this review helps someone like me. There are many reviews related to the Zinus brand slatted frame, but on different models. This review is dedicated to the Zinus 14 inch Elite Smart "Big and Tall" base. You can see and compare each base model in the product description. However, don't confuse it with 18-inch or other 14-inch models. This model is designed for "big and big" and its added features include extra stability and a 4,000lb weight limit. Now my wife and I are not tall and tall at all lol. We didn't really get close to that, but I wanted some extra stability in the frame after seeing other customer reviews showing the frame starting to flex on them. Look at the product images and you will see that the Big and Tall frame has very thick beams throughout the frame while other frames have more internal wire. Other reviews have shown that these wires bend on people. I didn't want that to happen, so I opted for a thicker frame. I'm glad I did because this frame is solid. I've only had it a few weeks but I'm VERY VERY SATISFIED with my purchase. Time will tell if it squeaks, but for now it's absolutely quiet. There are no scripts at all. Now the big topic that everyone is excited about is storage under the frame. This frame has at least 12 inches of high storage. You may be able to compress a little more, but you may have trouble extracting the container. I've attached a photo with a 12" pocket under the frame. When I was looking for a base, I really wanted an 18" tall Zinus frame, but I was concerned about the frame's stability. From other reviews, the Showing wire frame flex for others, I was also concerned that raising the frame legs 4" higher at 18" would make the frame less stable. I suspect the higher you go, the less stable the legs are on the frame. I don't know Whether that's true, but the 14" full beam frame is very stable and still has plenty of room under the bed. You can go 12" tall and be safe and have the rest of the bed space for storage. My wife has the frame and assembled the mattress myself while I was at work.I think she couldn't wait but she did a great job and it's not difficult. My entire double bed came in 2 boxes from Revain.Frame and mattress e. We use a "Classic Brands 14 inch Cool Gel Memory Foam" mattress in "king size" which we are very happy with. These two articles together are a match made in heaven lol. Although we will put flat plywood between the frame and the mattress to create a flatter surface for the memory foam. I don't know if that's necessary because when I look under the bed I don't see any significant sagging. Looks good, but I just want to make sure. In the end the frame is amazing and a great idea. Very durable, quiet, easy to assemble and easy to move. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.
