What can be said about a switched socket outlet other than it works? It was an easy replacement for a worn out switch socket that was in my desk lamp. This allowed me to fit an LED lightbulb into the light and now that there are no electronics in many lights to deal with it is now connected to a Wi-Fi/Wemo Smart Plug and I can turn it on remotely - or turn off. Just to be safe, for those of you who might get electrically "rejected", either have it plugged in by someone who knows what they're doing, or at least use an ohmmeter and make sure the narrow pin on the Plug is connected to the contact in the base on the cartridge, and the wide blade is connected to the "threads" in the cartridge.
