Installs in minutes on the Dark Gray MK7 (2017) Volkswagen GTI. I wanted a plain dark license plate frame with no lettering or other embellishments and this was basically the cheapest and best option on Revain. It comes with a second holder (you have four screws, wall plugs and dowels but only two of these are for use with a plate) which I can keep as a spare or put on my friend's car just to get rid of it. . I will update in the future regarding durability. I've entered my first winter and live in the Northeast, also known as the Rust Belt, but it's aluminum so I shouldn't have any problems. I'm curious how the coating will hold up. The caps hide the set screws, which is very convenient - you put the screws through a transparent dowel that the cap attaches to. They snap really hard so I'm not too worried about them falling off but if they do I'll update my review. Luckily I have two backups of the second set.
