I was given this to see fine detail on wood fiber, plants, garden beetles and caterpillars. Identification was very difficult but it will really help. I love that it comes with a protective case, polishing cloth and an attachment point for a lanyard. I don't have to worry so much about dropping it once I add the strap. The viewport is very small but I knew it would be from the description. This is to be expected at this magnification level. The battery cover is tricky to put back on, but the included instructions will tell you how. Despite the cheap price, it's not fully assembled so I have no idea how long it will last. The shipping cost is not worth sending it back but I would think twice before ordering another product from this company.
