Very good blade with perfect balance for a paring knife. Great Value!

An excellent paring knife. The handle is relatively heavy compared to the blade, which is perfect for the type of work you will be doing with this knife. The blade lies nimble and quickly in the hand. I'm very, very picky about my knives and I have several top quality Japanese and German knives. While I prefer Japanese-style chef's knives (over 8 inches) because they're thin and light, I definitely like the heavier handle for a paring knife because it naturally points the blade up. Imagine peeling potatoes, turning carrots, turnips, etc. Due to its small size, it is still easy to hold. The price is right too. I really love this knife!

Pros
  • HIGHER THAN THE REST. All of our chef's knives, including this paring knife, are made from German 55 high carbon Rockwell steel for unparalleled versatility, maximum sharpness and outstanding edge retention.
