I like that it's easy to use, and you can make your own models for any kind of application. It works great with Java as well so there are no limitations when using this program. Sometimes if you have too many turtles or agents in one model, it slows down and becomes unresponsive. You need to be careful about how much data you put into each turtle/agent. If you're looking for something simple but powerful then netlogo will work just fine! We've been able to create our own models for different applications including simulations of disease spread and forest fires.
