We bought this for our 16 month old to keep him busy on the plane and he loved it. It was still a tiring flight, but at least there were a few 5-10 minute stretches that he enjoyed. Now he is almost 2 years old and still likes to play with him sometimes. He quickly learned how to close the buckles, but still can't open them on his own, so there's still something to strive for. It is ideal for traveling as it is sturdy and compact with no parts to lose. Anyway, I think we should have gotten a bigger one with even more buckles!
