Even though there is no auto brightness feature, I have the backlight turned down to its lowest setting. Somehow, the time is still legible in the sunlight during the day; however, it appears that the numbers that show the time glow brighter than the background itself. I'm not sure if this is actually the case, but I always see the time. Prior to that, there existed a model of Amazfit bip watch known as the original generation. In this price range, there is obviously nothing that can compare to the autonomy that they offer from a fitness watch. But despite that, I found that this watch worked well for me, and the fact that I only have to charge it once a week is impressive, considering how useful it is and how large its display is. I set alarms on the weekdays, control the music occasionally, and receive notifications of incoming calls and messages frequently. However, I left the sleep tracking mode on its default setting of normal. I have completely disabled all of the other functions because I do not require them. Even 15–17% is typically still present by the end of the week while operating in this mode. The display is stunning, not only after the first beep but in general; even when placed next to an Apple Watch, it does not appear to be embarrassed in any way, and the time is legible even when exposed to direct sunlight. I opted for the version without a GPS because, in the hours and years leading up to my purchase, I never once made use of one. Very satisfied with the purchase.
