No sewing required to attach the strap buckles. Make the smaller clips first, it's very easy, just slide them through the top, through the middle bar and out the bottom slot. For the buckles, first slide the buckle onto the strap by threading the strap under the first bar and over the middle slider. Then turn the strap wrong side and reinsert the end of the strap into the center bar of the slider. Make sure you have some slack to easily pull the strap through.
