Bought in preparation for an active trip to St. John, Virgin Islands where we knew we would be hiking most of the time. I am very happy with this purchase as 1) they were not hacked before being used for hiking so there was no need to worry! 2) they looked way cooler on my feet than I initially thought and 3) THEY WERE PERFECT for hiking this island; It was hot and my feet needed to breathe, I could use them on the beach and they were great for scaling the rocks on the beach which took us to private beaches which we couldn't comfortably do in any other shoe. ! 4) Couldn't beat the $25 price tag. My only tiny bit of agreement was that small pebbles/sand got into the holes easily at times, but just as easily as they got in I was able to get them out with a quick shake. Good product. I just ordered a pair for my little one from the same manufacturer!
