replaces one that quit. It is slower than the old one. It does say it'll be up to 10 seconds. Not an eternity. Having replaceble batteries might be better than a rechargeable as the old battery could not be replaced.It works well. What more could you want!

- Easy to use and read, helpful to have around, accurate when I compared it to the one the hospital used

- Can be confusing to use for people not familiar with pulse oximeters
