Review on ☕ BonJour Ami-Matin Unbreakable French Press Coffee Maker - Perfect for Traveling, Camping & Everyday Use - 3-Cup/12.7 Ounce - Red by Tom Timmer

I bought this in March 2011 and it worked fine for a while. I used it about 2-3 times a week and didn't put it in the dishwasher so it would NOT be abused. After about 7 months it started leaking a little from the bottom when I squeezed it. I decided to order a Bonjour glass carafe to replace as I've had no issues with anything else. It's January now and all the press has collapsed. It looks like the heat from the hot water was too much for him, causing the plastic to crack. I don't understand why you are launching a hot coffee maker instead of using plastic strong enough to withstand the heat? It didn't even last a year. I have contacted Bonjour support and hope they can fix the issue but just wanted to share my experience.
