Not Working for Me: my feedback

As I slid my foot in, I thought "nice feel with the silky fur lining." I've several pairs of open-heel slippers, but my ankle doctor advised me to wear footwear with arch support. These have strong support in the arch area which was good. There's a gusset in the part that covers the top of your foot. If these were tight, then the gusset would help with slipping them on.Unfortunately, the silky lining was slippery enough that my feet slide out the open back. I need a strap at the back or else to find some like these but with a closed heel. The soles are very stiff so no flex to it when you walk. I tried gripping with my toes to keep these on my feet, but the lining didn't give me anything to grip. You end up walking flat-footed to keep them on. Perhaps a smaller size would fit more closely over the top of my feet and thus stay on.I'm pondering some ways that I can modify these so I can wear them. Maybe I can fix a strap with clips on each end.
