This is a handy item to have. We have a number of items with different kinds of memory cards that we want to transfer from one device to storage on the computer. This takes them all. I won't go into the technical details as you can get that from the product description. Nor do we use this to copy from or to various cards simultaneously.What we got this inexpensive device for was to plug it via USB into the computer, and then put in the variously sized/type of photo or memory card from a digital camera, phone camera, and trail cam. From there it's easy to dump the photos into a computer folder for processing and saving.It's easy to use and for $14, is recommended.
