Refillable plastic film cassettes are usually opened by hand to allow the film to be placed on top. that should not be opened. The intended use appears to be identical to reusing discarded 35mm cassettes, where one has to eject the end with a film ejector and then tape the film onto the newly ejected end. Note: they all came with the tail wound in the tape. If you don't have a tail puller, you'll have to break the plastic to open it. You can pick up discarded cassettes at the cinema store for free and do the same.
