Review on 🔴 Red 4-Inch Heavy Duty Colored Shield No-Hub Coupling by Supply Giant - 37622CS by Leo Torres

I connected two 4" 40 gauge pipes with this connector. It's a very tight fit which is probably a good thing. I put silicone grease on and all went well (felt impossible when dry) I slipped it all the way over one tube, taped the other end and then pressed this fastener in the middle and connected the two tubes. The fasteners are well tightened, like a solid connection. The Rubber is significantly thinner than that of well known Fenco brand but also costs 4 times cheaper.Still felt like a high quality connection.After much research I found out that this banded or shielded coupling is the only version that works for an underground pipe is acceptable (compared to a pure rubber coupling with steel boots).
