I used this to free the pipe that takes water out of the kitchen sink. The clog was about twenty feet from the trap under the sink, so this drill was enough to get at the clog. The coil is easy to turn and manipulate even when far away in the tubes. I also had no problem pushing it down the pipe to get at the clog. However, keep in mind that this is a very useful device. It will certainly clean a small pipe (kitchen or bathroom), but cleaning is not for the faint of heart (or the nose). The coils give you a lot back just like taking it out of the pipe. So be sure to run plenty of hot water to continue flushing the pipes after the clog is cleared. All in all, this drainage drill was a welcome addition. I've only used it twice but it's already saved me at least a few hundred on my plumbing bills.
