The unit is OK, looks good (not great, but good) and provides plenty of space for most stuff. I had hoped for storage for a large earring collection but find that, though the grooved places are OK, the holes, which are about half the storage, are pretty much worthless. You can't put post earrings in them because you can't get your hand behinc to add the back (otherwise they will fall out), some wire types will go into them, some will not because of their angles. I had tried to use the holes for some wire types and find that when I try to remove them, I end up knocking 4-5 other pairs out of the grooved ones (because the holes are close in between grooves). Maybe some don't care, but I found it very disappointing. Maybe would be better if the earring rack swung out. Otherwise it is pretty good except for the (minor) issue of the necklaces placed on the mirror (door) side get kind of crushed when closed.
