I have been working in the laboratory for 5 years and have used scales of all types and quality levels. These scales aren't terrible. It works, but accurate measurements are almost impossible. Yes, it will read to within 0.01g, but expect it to be off by 0.15g regularly. Lift and remove the calibration weight a few times and watch the reading steadily move up until it shows the 100g weight is 112g or more. I give it 3 stars because at least the price is so low. If you need the highest level of accuracy, consider purchasing a scale with 2x or 3x magnification.
