The ball joint is not strong and moves on its own, regardless of configuration and degree of tightening. I am very dissatisfied, had exactly the same model, which was better compared to this one. It has a rubber ball socket and nothing but cheap plastic on the pin connection. The old one had rubber on both sides of the joint, making it more durable. Stop skimping on quality! Also the suction, magnet and swivel arm work really well, just really disappointed that this one isn't as durable as the last one I bought a few years ago.
