Review on Mares Abyss 22 Navy Regulator by Sean Garrison

This one Controller costs every penny. Works absolutely flawlessly. Initially I was just a warm water diver so I've never heard of the regulator freezing and free flowing. It didn't take long for me to find out that it was a legitimate concern. Now, as I dive into the frigid waters of Michigan, I can tell you that I regularly see bottom temperatures in the 34-38 degree range. After reading about the dangers of a free flow regulator when diving in cold water I wanted a regulator that would prevent this and this regulator got great reviews and if it's good enough for US Navy cold water divers it's good enough for me . . It breathes easily to depths of 130 feet (my max depth) and it has cost me money to have my gear secure.
