Yuanhot's JoyCon charging station is great. It's easy to install, plugs into the left front USB port on the Switch dock, and has a piece of double-sided tape to hold it in place should you decide to use it. The second left USB port remains free and can be used when the charging station is connected. JoyCons just pop into a couple of grooves on the front and charging starts automatically. Red light means it is charging and blue light means the slot is charged or empty. The assembly stays outside of the charging console even when the JoyCons are still plugged in, allowing a total of 6 JoyCons to be charged at once. Duct tape. I haven't connected it yet and it works fine without it. Just remember to disconnect the charging station before moving the dock.
