Started using my cast iron skillets more recently. Was cleaning them with a plastic scraper, Kosher salt, and a small stiff nylon brush. Found this stainless steel scrubber cuts the cleanup time by 70% and is easy to use. Wish I had bought one years ago. Works on my 6 inch pan and my 10 inch pan. I place a clean sponge on top of the scrubber to remove cooked-on food deposits, adding a little hot water to the pan.
