Be careful. I bought two of these. My son has been playing travel hockey since he was 8 and has been at home since he was 5. He's changed more mouthguards than I can remember. He's average, just under 11 years old. This mouth guard will fit a 5-8 year old but will not fit an 11 or 12 year old. This is not a junior cap. I thought the size was a mistake on the first one, but no, it was the same on the second one. Instructions state size 1 and age up to 12 years. The face masks in both packages came in a case, in a box, but without polyethylene.
